David's TSOTS Blog Post #6

How did my garden grow? Our plant, obviously (as they would in a few months time) have grown. The leaves have grown a deeper green, more complicated features have grown in, and just the amount of space it takes up in the planter-box itself as increased. The question;   how ? The Brassica Olracea uses a process most plants use, photosynthesis, to take energy from sunlight. This accompanied by clean water and good soil, and the plant will strive. The plant also undergoes mitosis, which is the process of cell division. In short, the plant duplicates it's cells to "branch" out. And lastly, more chlorophyll is produced within the plant, which causes it to gain its deep green color.
